In this tutorial you will learn how to enable LED flash when iPhone running on iOS 7 is ringing.
Enabling LED flash on calls is a cool feature of iOS 7. Not very many iPhone users know about the way to turn on LED flash on calls, but it can be of great help to both those with hearing disabilities and those who are using iPhone in noisy and dark environments, where vibrating alerts don't help much.

Step 1. To access the feature, launch "Settings" from home screen.
Step 2. Tap "General" and tap "Accessibility".
Step 3. Scroll down to find "Hearing" part of the menu. Toggle "LED Flash for Alerts" to "ON".
Step 4. Let's go back to home screen and do a little test. We wait until our screen locks and ask our friend to call us. When he calls us, the LED flash informs us of a call. If someone sends us a message, LED flash activates in the same way as during calls.
Step 5. Important note: the LED Flash feature works on lock screen, but not in normal operational mode. That makes it quite difficult for a person with a hearing disability, but quite useful in a situation when a person parties in a nightclub and has the phone in the bag.
Step 6. Attention, iPhone owners! Some users complain that LED Flash stops working. In such case, switching the LED flash off and then on again should set it back to normality.
Result: Congratulations! You've just learned how to enable your LED Flash on calls.
